3.THE COMPANY'S OBJECTS ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO: (A)FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE INHABITANTS OF MANSFIELD AND DISTRICT IN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE "THE AREA OF BENEFIT," WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS; (B)DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE INHABITANTS OF, AND ORGANISATIONS OPERATING IN, THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY AND HELP MEET THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY; AND (C)ESTABLISH OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES AND TO MAINTAIN OR MANAGE OR CO-OPERATE WITH ANY STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH FACILITIES IN FURTHERANCE OF THE COMPANY'S OBJECTS.
