Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS (THE OBJECTS) ARE (1) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE UK AND ABROAD, BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES, SUCH AS SUPPLEMENTARY SCHOOLS AND TRAINING CENTRES, AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES AS THE DIRECTORS THINK FIT; (2) TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG THE POOR AND PEOPLE IN NEED, BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, MAKING GRANTS OR LOANS FOR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, EQUIPMENT, SERVICES AND FACILITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SAID PERSONS; (3) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO PRESERVE GOOD PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH AMONG POOR PEOPLE AND PEOPLE IN NEED, BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES OR SERVICES FOR TREATMENT, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT, EDUCATION, PRACTICAL ADVICE AND COUNSELLING, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF SPORTING ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SAID PERSONS; (4) THE RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ASSISTANCE TO FIND EMPLOYMENT AND PROVISION OF BUSINESS ADVICE; (5) TO ADVANCE THE RELIGION OF ISLAM BY ANY MEANS THOUGHT FIT BY THE DIRECTORS FROM TIME TO TIME.
