Charitable objects
THE SOCIETY IS ESTABLISHED FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES IN THE AREA COMPRISING THE BOROUGH OF PUDSEY AS AT THE 31ST MARCH 1974 WHICH AREA SHALL HEREINAFTER BE REFERRED TO AS "THE AREA OF BENEFIT". A) TO STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. B) TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. C) TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION PROTECTION DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 2 OF CONSTITUTION).
