The London Youth Choir was set up as a social action programme and centre of musical excellence to serve young people (aged 7 - 22) living or educated in London. The LYC consists of 5 separate choirs numbering over 260 young people and over 1,000 in its annual education outreach programme 'Aspire'. It rehearses weekly during term time in the City of London.
