THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE THE RELIEF OF ADULTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES AND MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES IN EAST LANCASHIRE AND ITS ENVIRONS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH: (1) THE PROVISION OF SUPPORTED ACCOMMODATION AND A RANGE OF HIGH QUALITY SERVICES; (2) BECOMING THE PROVIDER OF CHOICE WITHIN THE DEFINED AREA FOR SUCH ADULTS AND THEIR FAMILIES; (3) ENCOURAGING SELF RELIANCE AND INDEPENDENCE AMONGST SUCH ADULTS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
