We carry out a range of diversionary activities for community members such as dance, sports, cookery, arts and crafts, awareness sessions, confidence building, support sessions for women, and English and IT sessions for people who are finding English as a barrier to integrate with the community.

TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITY WITHIN NOTTINGHAM IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY. TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT RESIDENTS OF NOTTINGHAM, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OR POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS IN NOTTINGHAM.THE MAIN AIMS OF UNITED COMMUNITIES NETWORK FOCUS ON COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
