Charitable objects
1.TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF PEOPLE IN PARTICULAR BY NOT EXCLUSIVELY, FROM THE PORTUGUESE SPEAKING COMMUNITY IN THE UK AND ABROAD BY THE PROVISION OF OUT-OF SCHOOL CLUBS, SUMMER SCHOOL, ADULT LEARNING, VOCATIONAL, LANGUAGE AND LITERACY CLASSES. 2.THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF PEOPLE, IN PARTICULAR BY NOT EXCLUSIVELY FROM THE PORTUGUESE SPEAKING COMMUNITY IN THE UK AND ABROAD BY THE PROVISION OF GOODS AND SERVICES THAT THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE. 3.THE PROMOTION AND PRESERVATION OF GOOD HEALTH OF PEOPLE, IN PARTICULAR BY NOT EXCLUSIVELY, FROM THE PORTUGUESE SPEAKING COMMUNITY IN THE UK AND ABROAD BY THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND SERVICES THAT THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE. 4.TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
