TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF ORRELL PARK AND DISTRICT AND ITS IMMEDIATE ENVIRONS WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF AGE, SEX, RACE, POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY ASSICIATING THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS, INSTITUTIONS, BUSINESSES AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR HEALTH, RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECTS OF IMPROVING CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS.
