Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Charity produces at least two productions each year which are performed to the public. In addition to this, KYDS organises regular workshops for young people to develop their skills in acting, singing and dance which also develop other skills such as confidence, communication skills and teamwork. The Charity also organises fundraising and other community events.

Charitable objects
(1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO THE AGE OF 18 IN THE DRAMATIC AND OPERATIC ARTS; (2) TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO THE AGE OF 18, ESPECIALLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY; (3) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC APPRECIATION OF THE DRAMATIC AND OPERATIC ARTS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THROUGH PUBLIC PERFORMANCE.
