Charitable objects
FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: (1) TO PROVIDE FACILITIES, IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE OCCUPATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, OR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, BY THE PROVISION OF AN ARTS CENTRE FOR VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS; (3) TO PRESERVE WHATEVER OF THE HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSTRUCTIONAL HERITAGE OF THE TOWN OF MALTON THAT IS OF PARTICULAR BEAUTY OR HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL OR CONSTRUCTIONAL INTEREST, AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE BUILDINGS KNOWN AS THE "MILTON ROOMS".
