1) TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND WITH A VIEW TO PUBLIC PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF ORDER, THE PROVISION OF SERVICES FOR THE ONGOING SAFETY OF THOSE WHO ARE ABUSED AND AFFECTED BY ABUSE AND THOSE WHO PERPETRATE ABUSE. 2) TO PROMOTE INTER-AGENCY CO-OPERATION AND JOINT ACTION IN RELATION TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE 3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF VOLUNTARY AND STATUTORY AGENCIES AND THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN ALL ASPECTS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, ITS CAUSES, REMEDIES AND PREVENTION. IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTIVES PARTICULAR REFERENCE MUST BE MADE TO THE EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES STATEMENT ADOPTED BY THE SERVICE (SEE APPENDIX 1 OF CONSTITUTION)
