The Trust provides the foundation for Whitworth Park School & Sixth Form College, a mixed secondary school with the full ability range and over 1,000 students. It provides varied learning experiences and supports the work of the school by contributing to the development of capabilities, competencies, skills and understanding with a particular emphasis on the world of work.

TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS AT WHITWORTH PARK SCHOOL AND SIXTH FORM COLLEGE (OR ANY SUCCESSOR BODY WHICH SUCCEEDS ITS PURPOSES) OR AT ANY OTHER SCHOOL IN RESPECT OF WHICH THE COMPANY ACTS OR HAS ACTED AS A FOUNDATION ("THE SCHOOLS") IT BEING ACKNOWLEDGED THAT IN CARRYING OUT THE OBJECT THE COMPANY MUST, SO FAR AS IS CONSISTENT WITH THIS PURPOSE, HAVE REGARD TO ITS OBLIGATION TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY COHESION UNDER THE EDUCATION ACTS.
