THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING PEOPLE WITH APHASIA FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AS A RESULT OF THEIR CONDITION, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY BY SUPPORTING THE USE AND DEVELOPMENT OF NEW AND EXISTING TECHNOLOGY AND RUNNING PROGRAMMES OF ACTIVITIES TO HELP ENCOURAGE INDEPENDENCE, CONFIDENCE AND WELL-BEING FOR PEOPLE WITH APHASIA.
