THE SHIP'S COMPANY WILL RECONSTRUCT THE ANGLO SAXON SHIP OF KING RAEDWALD IN WHICH HE WAS BURIED AT SUTTON HOO AROUND 625 . THE SHIP WILL BE BUILT TO A DESIGN BASED ON THE BEST ARCHAEOLOGY COMBINED WITH MODERN DESIGN SOFTWARE. THE BUILD WILL INVOLVE PEOPLE OF ALL ABILITIES. BY PUTTING THE SHIP ON THE WATER, HYPOTHESES ABOUT ITS USE CAN BE TESTED. ROWERS CAN TAKE PART, AND THE COUNTRY SEE AN ICON.
