Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 3.1 TO PROMOTE AND FURTHER THE CRAFT OF BEEKEEPING AND THE SCIENCE OF BEES, TO THE PUBLIC GOOD. 3.2 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE OF BEES THROUGH TALKS AND SHOWS. 3.3 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION TO CHILDREN IN THE IMPORTANCE OF BEES AND BEEKEEPING, PROMOTING BEEKEEPING VIA SUMMER CAMPS AND DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARDS NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT [SCOTLAND] ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008]
