Activities - how the charity spends its money
A University of the Third Age is a learning co-operative of retired and semi retired people .It enables members to share many educational, creative and leisure activities. Activities are organised mainly in our 48 Interest groups that meet regularly. Our 470 members, through sharing their knowledge, skills and experience, learn from each other. Hucknall and District U3A is in Nottinghamshire .

TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, AND IN PARTICULAR THE EDUCATION OF PEOPLE NOT IN FULL TIME GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT, WHO ARE IN THEIR THIRD AGE (BEING THE PERIOD OF TIME AFTER THE FIRST AGE OF CHILDHOOD DEPENDENCE AND THE SECOND AGE OF FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT AND/OR PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY) RESIDING IN HUCKNALL AND THE SURROUNDING LOCALITY (TO BE KNOWN AS HUCKNALL & DISTRICT).
