We raise money for the restoration, preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement, beautification and reconstruction of The Church of St John The Baptist, Great Rissington. Money is raised through voluntary donations, local fundraising events, and grant applications. We actively seek to further the public benefit by widening the use of the Church Building.

A) FOR THE RESTORATION PRESERVATION REPAIR MAINTENANCE IMPROVEMENT BEAUTIFICATION AND RECONSTRUCTION OF THE CHURCH OF ST JOHN THE BAPTIST GREAT RISSINGTON IN THE DIOCESE OF GLOUCESTER AND THE COUNTY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE AND THE MONUMENTS FITTINGS FIXTURES STAINED GLASS FURNITURE ORNAMENTS AND CHATTELS IN THE CHURCH AND THE CHURCHYARD BELONGING TO THE CHURCH; B) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE OF THE SAID COUNTY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE AND THE SAID DIOCESE TO PRESERVE MAINTAIN IMPROVE BEAUTIFY AND RECONSTRUCT THE CHURCH AS A BUILDING OF HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE OR ARCHITECTURAL VALUE IN THE EVENT OF THE CHURCH BEING DECLARED REDUNDANT UNDER A PASTORAL SCHEME MADE UNDER THE PASTORAL MEASURE 1983 (OR ANY STATUTORY MODIFICATION OR RE-ENACTMENT THEREOF) OR OTHERWISE CEASING TO BE USED REGULARLY FOR PUBLIC WORSHIP AND THE MONUMENTS FITTINGS FIXTURES STAINED GLASS FURNITURE ORNAMENTS AND CHATTELS IN THE CHURCH AND THE CHURCHYARD BELONGING THERETO.
