Activities - how the charity spends its money
Serenity Social and Therapeutic Horticulture Charity will from 2025 be known as SERENITY-Therapy in Nature Charity, Our aim is to provide Nature Based Therapies to those with, or vulnerable to, mental health problems and to protect physical health, through the encouragement of evidence based Nature therapies for both mind and body, over six weeks in Summer.

Charitable objects
(1) To relieve sickness and promote and protect health within the Borough of Darlington and within a 50 mile radius, through the provision of Nature Based Therapies to those with, or vulnerable to, mental health problems and to protect physical health, through the encouragement of evidence based Nature therapies for both mind and body. (2) To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals resident within the Borough of Darlington and within a 50 mile radius, who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.
