Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND ARE TO BE CARRIED OUT IN NORTH KENT AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS: (A) THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PLAYING FOOTBALL AND SUCH OTHER SPORTS WHICH PROMOTE HEALTH BY INVOLVING PHYSICAL OR MENTAL SKILL OR EXERTION AND OTHER SPORTS CAPABLE OF PROMOTING PHYSICAL HEALTH AND FITNESS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE 'FACILITIES' IS DEFINED AS LAND, BUILDINGS, EQUIPMENT AND ORGANISING SPORTS RELATED ACTIVITIES). (B) TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR SPORT, RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BECAUSE OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. (C) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
