THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF GOOD MENTAL HEALTH AMONG CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 11 TO 18 BY CARRYING OUT WORK TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PREVENTION OF SUICIDE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY: 1) MAKING GRANTS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO SUPPORT CHARITIES AND ORGANISATIONS WHOSE WORK CONTRIBUTES TO THE PREVENTION OF SUICIDE AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE, AND SUPPORTS THEM, THEIR FAMILIES/CARERS AND EDUCATIONAL PROFESSIONALS. 2) THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION RELATING TO ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH.
