2.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 2.1.1 THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH; AND 2.1.2 THE RELIEF OF SUFFERING, POVERTY, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS AMONG NURSES AND OTHER HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE WORKERS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND DEPENDANTS. 2.2 IN THESE OBJECTS ÆHEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE WORKERSÆ MEANS PEOPLE WHO ARE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY ENGAGED IN THE PROVISION OF HEALTH OR SOCIAL CARE SERVICES, INCLUDING ANY PERSON PROVIDING ADMINISTRATIVE, LOGISTICAL OR OTHER SUPPORT FOR THE PROVISION OF HEALTH OR SOCIAL CARE; AND THE DIRECTORS SHALL HAVE ABSOLUTE DISCRETION IN DETERMINING WHO IS AND WHO IS NOT A HEALTH OR SOCIAL CARE WORKER WITHIN THAT DEFINITION AND WHO IS A PERSONÆS DEPENDANT.
