THE OBJECT OF THIS CIO IS TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF CONSERVATION OF THE SPECIES OF WILDLIFE WHICH ARE ENDANGERED AND AT RISK OF EXTINCTION IN SOUTHERN AFRICA FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AND ALSO THE SPECIES TO PRESERVE THEIR ROLE IN THE WIDER ECOSYSTEM.
