THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AND EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO ENGLISH LAW IN SUCH WAYS THAT THE TRUSTEES SHALL DECIDE AND, IN PARTICULAR, THROUGH THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH OF THOSE IN INDEPENDENT HOSPICES THROUGH THE RELIEF, CARE AND TREATMENT OF THE SICK, ESPECIALLY THE DYING, AND THE SUPPORT AND CARE OF THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS OF THE BEREAVED AND TO FACILITATE AND PROMOTE THE CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES OF INDEPENDENT HOSPICES.
