AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO RESIDENTIAL AND CUSTODIAL CARE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, TO SUPPORT, ASSIST AND DEVELOP THE PROVISION OF A WIDE RANGE OF EDUCATIONAL, RECREATIONAL AND WORK-LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES BASED IN THE NORTHERN PART OF POWYS WHICH EXTENDS UP TO THE SOUTHERNMOST BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMUNITIES OF LLANSANTFFRAED CWMDEUDDWR, NANTMEL, LLANDDEWI YSTRADENNY, LLANFIGANGEL RHYDITHON, CASCOB, KINNERTON, SALFORD AND BADLAND, EVENJOBB, NEWCASTLE BATLAND AND KINNERTON SALFORD AND BADLAND, EVENJOBB, NEWCASTLE BATLAND AND BURVA. 2. TO ASSIST THE EDUCATION OF ALL PEOPLE IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN THE ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS OF THE ABOVE AND TO FOSTER WITHIN THEM AN UNDERSTANDING THEREOF.
