Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Trustees work to maintain and improve the Community Centre for community activities, for example Girl Guides, Karate class, Theatre arts group(adults and children, and Private hire parties. The centre is also used as the venue for the Village Horticultural Show, Village Pantomime, Easter event and Woodland Trust activites.

Charitable objects
(A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE WAINGROVES NEIGHBOURHOOD WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS. (B) TO ESTABLISH OR TO SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE, OR TO CO-OPERATE WITH ANY LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH A CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE ASSOCIATON AND ITS CONSTITUENT BODIES IN THE FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS.
