THE EDUCATION AND ADVANCEMENT OF PERSONS SOCIETIES AND ORGANISATIONS INVOLVED WITH LOCAL NEIGHBOURHOODS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS IN THE PARISH OF DARESBURY AND ITS ENVIRONS:- (I) TO ESTABLISH A MUSEUM CONTAINING THE ARTIFACTS RELATING TO THE LIFE AND WORKS OF THE REVEREND CHARLES LUTWIDGE DODGSON (LEWIS CARROLL) AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN RESPECT OF THE SAME BY THE DISPLAY OF SUCH ARTICLES, BY THE CONDUCT OF AND PUBLICATION OF RESEARCH, AND (II) TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR THE INHABITANTS OF DARESBURY AND ITS ENVIRONS (THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE WRITER) IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND SO THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED.
