Charitable objects
A) THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG PEOPLE IN GREATER MANCHESTER BY PROVIDING THEM WITH GOODS AND SERVICES THEY COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THROUGH LACK OF MEANS.’ B) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES RESIDING IN GREATER MANCHESTER, AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE. C) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE INHABITANTS OF GREATER MANCHESTER, AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, TO ENHANCE THEIR ABILITY TO GAIN EMPLOYMENT AND TO STRENGTHEN FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS. D) TO SUPPORT THE WELFARE OF CHILDREN IN GREATER MANCHESTER, AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS SO THAT THEY CAN ADVANCE IN LIFE THROUGH: (I) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; (II) PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.
