Charitable objects
(1) TO ASSIST THE GOVERNORS FOR THE TIME BEING OF THE SCHOOL KNOWN AS ADMIRAL LONG CHURCH OF ENGLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL AT BURNT YATES, NORTH YORKSHIRE (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE SCHOOL") TO DEFRAY THE COST OF MEETING THEIR OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE EDUCATION ACTS 1944-1996; (2) TO PROMOTE RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CONSISTENT WITH THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND AT THE SCHOOL; (3) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION AT THE SCHOOL OF SUCH SPECIAL BENEFITS OF ANY KIND NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES OF THE CIO MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT ; (4) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING AND RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION CONSISTENT WITH THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND) OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS WHO ARE ATTENDING OR HAVE FOR NOT LESS THAN TWO YEARS AT ANY TIME HAVE ATTENDED THE SCHOOL (HEREINAFTER CALLED "BENEFICIARIES") IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS:- (A) IN AWARDING YEARLY PRIZES FOR BENEFICIARIES ATTENDING THE SCHOOL; (B) IN AWARDING TO BENEFICIARIES EXHIBITIONS TENABLE AT ANY SECONDARY SCHOOL, COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, UNIVERSITY OR OTHER INSTITUTE OF FURTHER (INCLUDING PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL) EDUCATION APPROVED BY THE CHARITY TRUSTEES OF THE CIO; (C) IN PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, OUTFITS, CLOTHING, TOOLS, INSTRUMENTS OR BOOKS TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES ON LEAVING SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT, TO PREPARE FOR, AND TO ENTER A PROFESSION, TRADE OR CALLING (D) IN AWARDING BURSARIES OR MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO TRAVEL, WHETHER IN THIS COUNTRY OR ABROAD, TO PURSUE THEIR EDUCATION; (E) IN PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO STUDY MUSIC OR OTHER ARTS; OR IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES OF THE CIO THINK FIT; (5) TO APPROPRIATE AND MAINTAIN THE PLAYING FIELD FORMING PART OF THE LAND COMPRISED IN TITLE NUMBER NYK 405707 FOR USE AS A PLAY AREA AND RECREATION GROUND BY PUPILS ATTENDING THE SCHOOL AND BY CHILDREN RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF CLINT AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD THEREOF.
