To save lives and prevent drowning, primarily through: a) providing education and training in all areas relating to lifesaving, rescue and resuscitation for the benefit of the public b) Providing facilities to take part in organised lifesaving as a voluntary public service and to take part in beach and water sports, so as to develop their capabilities as lifeguards.

TO SAVE LIVES AND PREVENT DROWNING, PRIMARILY THROUGH: A) PROVIDING EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO LIFESAVING, RESCUE AND RESUSCITATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE AREA OF ST DAVID'S AND ITS IMMEDIATE AREA IN PEMBROKESHIRE. B) PROVIDING FACILITIES TO TAKE PART IN ORGANISED LIFESAVING AS A VOLUNTARY PUBLIC SERVICE AND TO TAKE PART IN BEACH AND WATER SPORTS, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES AS LIFEGUARDS.
