Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO CONSERVE, PROMOTE AND ENHANCE BARHAM PARK (HEREAFTER REFERRED TO AS 'THE PARK') FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS A PLACE OF RECREATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE FOR ALL SECTIONS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY BY: (1) ENCOURAGING THE RECREATIONAL USE OF THE PARK BY DEVELOPING AND SUPPORTING COMMUNITY EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES; (2) ADVANCING EDUCATION INTO THE HISTORY, HERITAGE, BIODIVERSITY, ECOLOGY AND OTHER ASPECTS OF THE OF THE PARK; (3) LIAISING WITH COMMUNITY GROUPS, BARHAM PARK TRUST AND BRENT COUNCIL AND FACILITATING EVENTS AND FUNDRAISING IN FURTHERANCE OF THE STATED OBJECTIVES.
