THE OBJECT OF THE CIO, TO BE CARRIED OUT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN SUCH PARTS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE, IS: TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PARTICIPATING IN RUGBY IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE FROM ECONOMICALLY AND/OR SOCIALLY DISADVANTAGED BACKGROUNDS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
