Charitable objects
1 TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF THE ELDERLY BY PROVIDING, MANAGINGG, MAINTAINING AND CONTROLLING A LUNCHEON CLUB FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING LUNCHEON FACILITIES AND FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER OCCUPATION FOR SUCH PERSONS IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. THE ELDERLY IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY OF LESWELL STREET WO ARE DISABLED OR HOUSEBOUND SHALL BE SELECTED IN PREFERENCE TO OTHERS. 2 TO ASSIST IN THE REHABILITATION OF YOUNG OFFENDERS WHO ARE UNDER COMMUNITY SERVICE ORDERS BY ALLOWING THEM TO PERFORM THEIR COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS BY UNDERTAKING SUPERVISED WORK AT THE LSLC AS DIRECTED BY THE RELEVANT PROBATION OFFICER AND THE COMMUNITY SERVICE PROBATION OFFICER.
