Activities - how the charity spends its money
We meet each Friday. Members are brought by community bus to the Medway Centre. They have coffee, then socialise by chatting, playing cards, dominoes etc. A hot lunch is provided. There is various entertainment during the afternoon. Two or three times a year we organise days out.

A) TO PROVIDE A STIMULATING MEETING PLACE FOR THOSE ELDERLY PEOPLE WHO AR AT RISK OF BECOMING ISOLATED, DEPRESSED OR LONELY. B) OFFERING SOME RELIEF TO RELATIONS AND CARERS OF ISOLATED ELDERLY PERSONS. C) TO OTHERWISE PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF THE AGED IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA IN ANY MANNER WHICH IS OR HEREAFTER MAY BE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE IN BAKEWELL AND DISTRICT.
