THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY PROMOTING, UNDERTAKING AND MAKING PUBLIC HISTORICAL RESEARCH AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL IVESTIGATION INTO THE LANDSCAPE OF THE PARISH OF WHARRRAM IN THE COUNTY OF NORTH YORKSHIRE AND OF ADJOINING AND NEIGHBOURING PARISHES. THE RESULTS OF THE WORK WILL BE DESEMINATED BY PUBLICATIONS, EXHIBITIONS, PUBLIC LECTURES AND OTHER MEANS.
