SUBJECT TO THE PAYMENT OF PROPER COST,CHARGES AND EXPENSES OF MAINTAINING THE PROPERTY OF AND MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE CHARITY THE TRUTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY(1)TOWARDS RELIEVING GENERALLY OR OR INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF THE ANCIENT PARISH OF SPORLE AND HAMLET OF PALGRAVE WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESSBY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE SUCH NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS(2)IF INCOME IN ANY ONE YEAR IS NOT NEEDED FOR (1) ABOVETHE TRUSTEES MAY APPLY SAME FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE ANCIENT PARISH OF SPORLE AND HAMLET WITH PALGRAVE AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT
