A) HOLDING TOGETHER THE TRADITIONS OF THE REGIMENT AND OF PERPETUATING ITS DEEDS AND ACTIONS AND FOR SUCH PURPOSE AGREED TO APPOINT TRUSTEES FOR THE PURPOSE OF HOLDING THE REGIMENTAL COLLECTION AND ANY FUTURE ACQUISITIONS THERETO UPON TRUST B) THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME MAKE GRANTS OF MONEY OUT OF ACCUMULATED INCOME ONLY OF THE TRUST FUND TO RELIEVE THE DISTRESS OF FORMER MEMBERS OF THE REGIMENT AND THEIR WIDOWS AND ORPHANS ON SUCH OCCASIONS OF NEED THAT THE TRUSTEES CONSIDER ARE APPROPRIATE HAVING TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT ALL RELEVANT CIRCUMSTANCES INCLUDING THE EXTENT TO WHICH SUCH PERSONS ARE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE STATE BENEFIT
