Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ACT AS A CHRISTIAN BASED ORGANISATION FOR THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH SUPPORTING THE HOMELESS LIVING IN GRAVESEND AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY: I) TAKING CARE AND LOOKING AFTER THEIR NEEDS THROUGH DIRECT HELP II) SIGNPOSTING THEM TO AGENCIES WHO CAN HELP THEIR PARTICULAR SITUATION III) HELPING THEM TO BECOME PART OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY THIS INCLUDES THOSE FACING THE PROSPECT OF HOMELESSNESS AND THOSE RE-ENTERING ACCOMMODATION.
