TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BELIEF THAT OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST, GOD MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, IS THE SOLE AND ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY IN ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO FAITH AND PRACTICE, AS REVEALED IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES, AND THAT EACH CHURCH HAS LIBERTY, UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, TO INTERPRET AND ADMINISTER HIS LAWS. (2.) TO USE, OCCUPY AND ENJOY THEIR PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF: (A) A PLACE FOR PUBLIC WORSHIP AND FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH; (B) A PLACE WHERE CHILDREN AND ADULTS ARE INSTRUCTED IN THE CHRISTIAN FAITH; (C) A PLACE FOR THE EXERCISE OF THE MISSION OF THE CHURCH (3.) TO UNDERTAKE AND PERFORM THE OFFICE AND DUTIES OF CUSTODIAN TRUSTEE FOR CONGREGATIONAL AND OTHER AUTONOMOUS INDEPENDENTLY ORDERED CHURCHES AND FOR OTHER SIMILAR CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS.
