TO RELIEVE EITHER GENERALLY OF INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS AND ORGANISATIONS RESIDENT IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS AND ORGANISATIONS 2. TO PROMOTE EDUCATION IN ONE OR BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS: (A) TO PROVIDE FOR ANY SCHOOL IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA SUCH SPECIAL BENEFITS OF ANY KIND NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE L. E. A AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE AGREED BETWEEN THE TRUSTEES AND THE GOVERNORS OF THE SCHOOL CONCERNED. (B) TO PROMOTE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING OF PERSONS WHO ARE OR WHO HAVE A PARENT RESIDENT IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA AND WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN ONE OR BOTH OF THE WAYS LISTED INCL 27(B) OF THE SCHEME DATED 28. 2. 89. 3. TO FURTHER THE RELIGIOUS AND EDUCATIONAL WORK OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN THE SAID ECCLESIASTICAL PARISHES OF GREAT AND LITTLE HAMPTON, ST. ANDREW BENGEWORTH, ST. PETER AND THE TOWN OF EVESHAM.
