To maintain 6.474 acres for a recreation ground and to maintain a village hall and community centre, on that site, for the use of the inhabitants of Christchurch in the county of Cambridgeshire and its neighbourhood without distinction of political, religious or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants
