1. Objects 1.1 The Objects of the Charity are for the public benefit: (1) to promote the welfare and relieve the poverty of the beneficiaries by all practical means in particular by the provision of information and assistance to beneficiaries in need of such by persons of their physical and social conditions (2) to provide facilities for recreation with the object of improving the conditions of life and social welfare of the beneficiaries (3) to advance the education of the public in general and of the beneficiaries in particular (4) to undertake any other charitable activity for the benefit of the beneficiaries In this clause the beneficiaries shall mainly be but not exclusively Irish people or their descendants in Britain.
