THE NET INCOME OF THE FOUNDATION SHALL BE APPLIED FOR THE BENEFIT OF PERSONS OR EITHER SEX WHO HAVE NOT ATTAINED THE AGE OF 25 YEARS, ARE RESIDENT IN THE BOROUGH OF YEOVIL AND THE LOCALITY OF ALVINGTON IN THE CIVIL PARISH OF BRYMPTON AND ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS: 1. THE PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE FOR EDUCATION BY MEANS OF SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS TENABLE AT ANY PLACE OF LEARNING OR BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES ON LEAVING SCHOOL, A UNIVERSITY OR ANY OTHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT, TO PREPARE FOR, OR TO ENTER, A PROFESSION, TRADE OR CALLING; 2. THE AWARD OF SCHOLARHSIPS OR MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO TRAVEL ABROAD TO PURSUE THEIR EDUCATION; 3. THE PROVISION, OR ASSISTANCE TOWARDS THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY, FOR RECREATION AND SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF COACHING IN ATHLETICS, SPORTS AND GAMES, FOR BENEFICIARIES WHO ARE RECEIVING PRIMARY, SECONDARY OR FUTHER EDUCATION; AND 4. THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO STUDY MUSIC OR OTHER ARTS.
