(1) A YEARLY SUM OF ú2 TO BE APPLIED BY EACH RECTOR AND VICAR IN THE PROMOTION OF RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND BY MEANS OF A SUNDAY SCHOOL OR OTHERWISE FOR THE BENEFIT OF POOR CHILDREN OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISHES OR DISTRICTS OF WHITTINGTON, SEVENHAMPTON, DOWDESWELL, CHARLTON KINGS ST. MARY AND CHARLTON KINGS HOLY APOSTLES, AND THE VILLAGE OF BROCKHAMPTON,IN THE COUNTY OF GLOUCESTER. (2) THE RESIDUE MAY BE APPLIED IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS:- PAYMENT OF FEES, TRAVELLING EXPENSES AND MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES FOR THE PURPOSES OF EDUCATION OTHER THAN ELEMENTARY; CARING FOR THE HEALTH AND PHYSICAL CONDITION OF CHILDREN; AND OTHERWISE PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OF BOYS AND GIRLS OF THE POORER CLASSES IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA. (3) THE REMAINING INCOME TO BE APPLIED FOR THE GENERAL PURPOSES OF THE SUNDAY SCHOOL AND RELIGIOUS OR OTHER INSTRUCTION CARRIED ON IN THE SCHOOL PREMISES OF THE FOUNDATION (I.E. A SUNDAY SCHOOL, EVENING CLASSES OR LECTURES, PHYSICAL INSTRUCTION OR A LIBRARY OR READING ROOM.
