TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND ADVANCE THE PUBLICS EDUCATION IN THE PROVISION OF SERVICES DIRECTED TOWARD MEDIATION, CONCILIATION OR RECONCILIATION AS BETWEEN PERSON, ORGANISATIONS, AUTHORITIES OR GROUPS INVOLVED OR LIKELY TO BECOME INVOLVED IN DISPUTE OR INTER-PERSONAL CONFLICT, BOTH GENERALLY AND IN ANY SITUATION WHERE THAT DISPUTE OR CONFLICT RESULTS FROM, OR MAY LEAD TO, ACTS OF VIOLENCE, NUISANCE, VANDALISM, RACIAL ABUSE, SEXUAL ABUSE, UNLAWFUL ACTIVITY OR BREAKDOWN OF PUBLIC ORDER; AND 2) TO ADVANCE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, IN THE PURPOSES AND METHODS OF SUCH MEDIATION, CONCILIATION OR RECONCILIATION AND, IN PARTICULAR, THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE NATURE AND CAUSES OF ANY SUCH DISPUTES OR CONFLICTS AND OF ALL MEANS OF MANAGING THEM FOR PURPOSES OF PEACEFUL RESOLUTION IN THE INTERESTS OF GOOD CITIZENSHIP. A) THE PROVISION OF A CONFLICT RESOLUTION SERVICE TO INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES B) THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE SKILLS OF THOSE INTERESTED IN THE MEDIATION PROCESS C) THE PROMOTION OF THE UNDERSTANDING AND DEVELOPMENT OF CONFLICT RESOLUTION IN ALL SECTORS OF THE COMMUNITY D) THE PROVISION OF APPROPRIATE MEDIATION AND REPARATION PROCESSES FOR ALL VICTIMS AND OFFENDERS WHO WOULD LIKE TO BE INVOLVED.
