• To identify, raise awareness of, and address the issue of access to legal services for people who have limited means to pay; • To prevent and relieve poverty, sickness, distress and disadvantage by providing, but not restricted to, a range of free legal advice, case work and representation services for the community of Norfolk (the “area of benefit”) (and other areas as the Trustees in their absolute discretion determine from time to time); • To enhance people’s awareness of, and to empower them to understand, their rights by promoting public legal education, having regards to those areas of law and regulation which are directed to the relief of poverty, sickness, distress or disadvantage; and • To promote such other charitable purposes as are for the benefit of the community in the area of benefit.
