TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM ILLNESSES, DISEASES OR DISABILITIES AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) BY THE ENHANCEMENT AND IMPROVEMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY HOSPITALS AND HOSPICES (AND NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED FROM STATUTORY FUNDS) FOR THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH CHILDREN INCLUDING BY: A) THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES FOR USE IN THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF CHILD PATIENTS AT ANY SUCH HOSPITAL OR HOSPICE; B) THE PROVISION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF AMENITIES AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF CHILD PATIENTS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; C) THE PROVISION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF ACCOMMODATION, AMENITIES AND SUPPORT FOR RELATIVES OF CHILD PATIENTS; WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; AND D) THE PROVISION, IMPROVEMENT OR ENHANCEMENT OF ANY BUILDING FOR THE USE IN THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF CHILD PATIENTS. 3.2 THE PROMOTION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF RESEARCH (THE USEFUL RESULTS OF WHICH SHALL BE PUBLISHED OR OTHERWISE DISSEMINATED) INTO THE CAUSES, EFFECTS AND TREATMENT OF CHILDHOOD ILLNESSES, DISEASES AND DISABILITIES AND OF EDUCATION IN THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF CHILDREN WITH SUCH ILLNESSES, DISEASE AND DISABILITIES, WHETHER RELATED TO SUCH RESEARCH OR NOT. 3.3 THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION OF CHILDREN IN HEALTH AND IN THE SCIENCES AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY. 3.4 THE RELIEF OF NEED OF THOSE SUFFERING FROM ILLNESS, DISEASE OR DISABILITY.
