TO RELIEVE DISABILITY ESPECIALLY (BUT NOT LIMITATION) BY PROVIDING OR FACILITATING ACCOMMODATION, CARE AND SUPPORT TO OR FOR PERSONS WITH PHYSICAL, SENSORY, LEARNING OR OTHER DISABLEMENT OR OTHER SPECIAL NEEDS SO AS TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVES AND ASSIST THEIR INTEGRATION INTO THE COMMUNITY AND BY PROVIDING OR FACILITATING APPROPRIATE SUPPORT FOR THEIR CARERS. 2. For the public benefit, to provide relief to those in need by reason of age, ill-health, financial hardship or other disadvantage (and in particular, but without limitation, elderly people, victims of domestic violence or abuse, people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, people in need of after-care and assistance following discharge from hospital or a care facility, or such people who are seeking asylum or who have been granted refugee status) by providing or facilitating accommodation, and/or care and support services to or for such persons designed to meet their needs and by providing or facilitating appropriate support for their carers.
