TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF FRENCH SPEAKING CENTRAL AFRICAN PEOPLE, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE RESIDING IN THAMESMEAD, ABBEY-WOOD, ERITH, BELVEDERE AND THE BOROUGHS OF BEXLEY AND GREENWICH, INCLUDING: 1. TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND DISTRESS, PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH AND ADVANCE EDUCATION BY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, SUPPORT, INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE IN SUCH MATTERS AS HEALTH, EDUCATION, TRANSLATION SERVICES, HOUSING AND WELFARE RIGHTS AND SUCH OTHER SERVICES AS THE TRUSTEES DEEM NECESSARY. 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL ASPECTS OF CENTRAL AFRICAN CULTURE, ARTS, HISTORY, LANGUAGES AND RELIGION. 3. THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES.
