ARE TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE WITH ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURY (''ABI'') AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY TO PROMOTE THEIR EDUCATION AND ADVANCE THEM IN LIFE BY: 3.1 PROMOTING UNDERSTANDING AND AWARENESS OF THE LONG-TERM EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF CHILDREN WITH ABI THROUGHOUT THE DEVELOPMENT CONTINUUM. 3.2 OFFERING EDUCATIONAL, ASSESSMENT AND RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES, ENSURING THAT SUCH FACILITIES OFFER OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL CHILDREN WHATEVER THEIR RACE, CULTURE, RELIGION, MEANS OR ABILITY, TOGETHER WITH THE RIGHT OF PARENTS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND TO BECOME INVOLVED IN THE PROVISION; 3.3 PROVIDING TRAINING COURSES FOR PROFESSIONALS AND PARENTS TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION AND TO PROMOTE EXPERTISE IN ADDRESSING THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN WITH ABI. 3.4 ENCOURAGING THE STUDY OF THE NEEDS OF SUCH CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES AND PROMOTING PUBLIC INTEREST IN RECOGNITION OF SUCH NEEDS;
