ARE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN WITH DOWN SYNDROME AND THEIR FAMILIES. IN PARTICULAR, TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING IN EAST SURREY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY PROVIDING SUPPORT, ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE AND ORGANISING STRUCTURED PROGRAMMES FOR PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN ORDER TO: A) ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP YOUNG CHILDREN BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUALS B) ADVANCE EDUCATION C) PROVIDE LEISURE TIME ACTIVITY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WHO HAVE A NEED BECAUSE THEY WERE BORN WITH DOWN SYNDROME WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THE LIFE OF THESE PEOPLE D) PROVIDE A SUPPORT NETWORK FOR THE YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES
